The Bedrooms
Two restful bedrooms under the thatch: a king room with a window over the garden, and a twin room made for the little ones (or the early risers). Crisp linen, chunky throws, and morning birdsong included free of charge.
Bibury, in the heart of the Cotswolds
A honey-stone hideaway where the kettle's always on, the log burner is always lit, and the honeysuckle really does smell that good in June.
Whole-cottage let, sleeps four, dogs welcome
A cosy, characterful whole-cottage stay in classic honey-coloured Cotswold stone. Three snug rooms, one very good armchair, and windows that frame the garden like pictures.
Two restful bedrooms under the thatch: a king room with a window over the garden, and a twin room made for the little ones (or the early risers). Crisp linen, chunky throws, and morning birdsong included free of charge.
A proper log burner, a deep sofa made for rainy afternoons, and a shelf of dog-eared novels. Put the kettle on, pull the curtains against the evening, and let the fire do the talking.
A country kitchen with everything you actually need: a range cooker, a farmhouse table for four, and a dresser full of proper mugs. Breakfast tastes better when the garden is right outside the back door.
Thoughtful touches for a proper countryside break, all included in the stay.
A basket of logs waiting by the fire, all winter long.
Range cooker, dishwasher, and proper tea things.
Seating for sunny mornings and honeysuckle in June.
Off-street parking for two cars, right by the gate.
Two well-behaved pups stay free, with treats in the jar.
Reliable broadband for streaming or working from the sofa.
King bedroom plus a twin room, fresh linen throughout.
Footpaths from the door, with maps in the cottage.
The cottage sits in a walled garden that does something lovely in every season: snowdrops in February, the famous honeysuckle in June, and apples you are welcome to pick in September.
Three favourite strolls, all starting at the garden gate. Boots by the back door, maps in the drawer.

A gentle loop past the famous weavers' cottages of Arlington Row, along the River Coln, and back through the water meadows. Perfect for the first morning, camera in pocket.

Follow the Coln upstream through Bibury's trout farm meadows, then climb to the lane above the valley for views back over the village rooftops. Reward yourself at the village pub after.

A classic Cotswold ramble across open fields and dry-stone walled lanes to the neighbouring village, with a welcoming inn at the halfway point. The long way home is the best way.
What a stay at the cottage feels like, in the words of our (imaginary) guests.
"The log burner, the garden, the smell of honeysuckle everywhere. We arrived as tourists and left feeling like locals. The kettle really was always on."
The Bennett Family, stayed a week in June
"We walked every morning straight from the door and came home to the cosiest sofa in England. Our spaniel has never been happier, and frankly neither have we."
